In addition to picking up your bag of veggies each week, CSA members are welcome to visit the farm and pick their own vegetables from our pick-your-own fields. There will be fresh flowers, herbs, cherry tomatoes, and hot peppers for the taking. Come soak up the sun and enjoy picking your own food.
The best way to learn about sustainable agriculture is to get your hands dirty!. The Volunteership is a drop-in weekly program that runs from May to August where individuals will learn about organic farming, help with a variety of projects around the farm, and meet some great people. You’ll leave the farm at the end of the day with plenty of knowledge and fresh veggies!
We love volunteers! Come out any day Monday-Saturday; there’s something for everyone to do! So whether you’re interested in coming to check out the farm, meet the crew, or become a regular volunteer, get in touch and let us know when you’d like to come out! Bring a water bottle, gloves, a hat, and shoes you wouldn’t mind getting muddy.
For school and community groups or clubs that are interested in learning more about our farm, the local food system, or sustainable agriculture in general, we offer an opportunity to come out and do just that! We can host preschoolers, college classes, and everything in between. Get in touch with us to plan a trip to Bellair that meets your group’s goals.
The farm is a wonderful venue to find out more about skills like canning and lacto-fermentation. Watch our workshops page for more information.
Each year, we host loads of events for CSA members and the general public. We also host private events. Find more information here.
